Special Coatings Defoamer is a kind of compounding defoamer without silicone, applicable for many fields especially for removing the foams produced in the process of using paper-making paint, Water-based adhesive, , macromolecule adhesive agent and so on. It is with the advantage of quick defoaming, small consumption, good auxiliary film-forming, not producing surface defect such as flash, shrinkage hole and so on. It is also applicable in removing the foams coming from starch, polyvinyl alcohol, Water-based Ink and so on.

Usage and Dosage

Special Coatings Defoamer requests the appropriate stir before using. The dosage in the high viscosity of the latex paint is 0.3% ~ 0.8%, in the paper coating, low viscosity and water-soluble latex paint is 0.1% ~ 0.5%, in the resin emulsion is 0.3% ~ 0.5%,while other process is generally about 0.1%~0.65%. According to foaming characteristics, increase or decrease in dosage to achieve the most economical level. Defoamer adding at least 24 hours to obtain the anti-foaming effect, it can not test the performance of paint ahead of time, otherwise it will draw the wrong conclusions.

 

Packaging and Storage

Special Coatings Defoamer is packed in 25/200 liter plastic bucket or packed in required specification, stored in cool and well-ventilated place. The shelf-life is for one year.
